The unpredictable weather led to delays and venue changes, causing some matches to spill over to Championship Sunday and ultimately resulting in four of the five matches being rescheduled for today, which we're now affectionately dubbing Championship Monday.

Alongside Anna Bright, they achieved the remarkable feat of defeating Anna Leigh Waters and Ben Johns in a thrilling three-game match, with scores of 11-3, 11-9, 11-3. This marks Daescu's second gold in Austin, following his unexpected victory in the men's doubles alongside Matt Wright.

Navratil & Alshon beat the Johns Brothers
